As much as I hate surveys and polls….I read this article a few weeks ago and its simply haunted me with hilarity, hence the must to post. The topic: cell phones users are distracted. So distracted that when surveyed, a majority of 150 individuals walking across a college quad completely missed a CLOWN ON A UNICYCLE when asked if they had seen anything out of the ordinary. Again, let me just reiterate - a majority of 150 individuals walking across a college quad completely missed a CLOWN ON A UNICYCLE. Thats like missing the Kool-Aid guy break through your cube wall. Really no real need to further expound on this one.
Research also discovered that users walk slower and weave more. Hilarious but true. If someone could map out the paths we take in text & phone conversations most of us would look insane- but again not as insane as missing a clown on a unicycle. Okay, I'm done.
