In the name of Alice.

As Twilight fans freak out for New Moon my excitement continually turns to the whack of all things Alice in Wonderland. And on that note check out the new SyFy Series beginning December 6th. It touts a modern twist - but the downside is it brought from the same team that made 'Tin Man' which I thought was downright terrible and too far skewed. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

What the Blik?

Wall decals - a great alternative to wall paper or painting but finding sweet decals use to be tough. Now, look no further than Blik. Pairing with Threadless on many of the decals - its now hard to narrow down a choice with the surplus of super fun, quirky options!

NYC Subway Upgrade.

Gah! Awesomeness for any New Yorker. NYC Subway lines are testing LCD technology to show you exactly where trains are, finally! Currently, the system is being tested on the L line- a line which reminds me of similar wait times as the dmv.

Now, if they could only put this sign above ground so I can tell whether or not I can swing Dunkies first thing in the am without missing the next train- before I swipe my MetroCard.

Cell phone users distracted - miss clown on unicycle.

As much as I hate surveys and polls….

I read this article a few weeks ago and its simply haunted me with hilarity, hence the must to post. The topic: cell phones users are distracted. So distracted that when surveyed, a majority of 150 individuals walking across a college quad completely missed a CLOWN ON A UNICYCLE when asked if they had seen anything out of the ordinary. Again, let me just reiterate - a majority of 150 individuals walking across a college quad completely missed a CLOWN ON A UNICYCLE. Thats like missing the Kool-Aid guy break through your cube wall. Really no real need to further expound on this one.

Research also discovered that users walk slower and weave more. Hilarious but true. If someone could map out the paths we take in text & phone conversations most of us would look insane- but again not as insane as missing a clown on a unicycle. Okay, I'm done.
