iRig - Microphone for iPhone and iPad

iRig is a $59 handheld microphone for your iPhone and iPad.

It is available at ikmultimedia.com.

I actually think this is a really good idea especially with the Garage Band App and other audio apps available in the marketplace. I personally already love working with the Garage Band app because it allows you to lay down 8 tracks and of course one can be voice. I've recorded some rough cuts and added some nice filters to some self made songs and find it fast and intuitive. I think this microphone can serve as a upgrade for better sound quality. And alongside vocalists, I can definitely see this being used for quick interviews.

With apps, HD video recording capabilities and a decent microphone you can cut out a super expensive studio time and publish and share things on the fly, all by YOURSELF. Sure its not the same exact quality but coming from a YouTube generation we are fairly forgiving on overall output!
