Top 20...Tech Tech Hits - for Jackson Blue! Z104.3

Here is my complete Holiday Tech Gift Guide!!  It does not contain any WWE merchandise (of which both Jackson and I would appreciate) but it does give you gift ideas for just about everyone on your list!  These are all my personal faves, tested and approved and as showcased on CNN "Tech the Halls".

1.) STAR WARS Force FX Lightsabers, $99, ThinkGeek.com
This is an official replica with authentic sound effects digitally recorded from the movie.  Is it even nerdier of me to say it’s really durable?

2.) MOPHIE JUICE PACKS ($34.95 - $99.95), Mophie.com

++ Juice pack plus (8 hours extra)

++ Juice pack air (6 hours extra)

++ Juice pack reserve (keychain made for getting those last few calls in)

These come in 6 different colors.  The juice pack plus touts to nearly double your iPhone battery life.  Has a standby and charge button, 2.9 oz.  and showcases a status indicator light that will tell you how much juice it has left.

3.) GAMING

++ NINTENDO 3DS, $169.99 nintendo.com with Mario Kart7, mariokart.com, $39.99

++ DISNEYLAND ADVENTURES, Kinect for Xbox 360, xbox.com, $49.99

4.) FREEHANDS GLOVES, $18-$80, Freehands.com

From knit to cashmere options, this is a softball gift idea for anyone with a smartphone or tablet.  You cant access the screen with gloves on.

With Freehands, there are 2 different options you can get: the fingers that flip back (there’s little magnets in there holding the knitting down) or this one is super sleek … it has conductive tips so you don’t have to take your gloves off at all.

5.) BOMBATA TRAVEL BAG, $39-$49, chmarketingllc.com

Great for iPad or any size laptop!  I get stopped all the time asking where I got my two bags.  Plus, comes with a shoulder strap.  Worth hunting down!

6.) SONOS PLAY3, $299, Sonos.com

This is my go-to way to listen to music in my apartment.  I have been using a bigger Sonos for years (Play5) , and then they came out with this smaller option.  If you are looking for a good speaker with good sound, this pumps out some volume.  Plus, you can remotely control it from your smartphone, your computer or your iPad.  And, not only do you have access to your music library, you also have access to thousands of internet radio stations and podcasts.  Want to stream throughout the house? Get multiple Sonos and set up multiple zones linked together with a Sonos Bridge.

7.) BASIC E-READERS

++ BARNES AND NOBLE SIMPLE TOUCH READER, Barnesandnoble.com, $99

++ AMAZON KINDLE, $109 (without ads), amazon.com
This is simply an easy pick-up for anyone that has been wanting a simple go-to ereader, nothing fancy.

8.) SCREAMING MONKEY SLINGSHOT, $7, ThinkGeek.com

9.) FINCREDIBLES, $25, crackerbarrel.com
Electronic, LED fish.  Ready to go out of box.  They look totally real and they won't crap in the bowl!

10.) ZAGGFolio, $99, Zagg.com

I haven’t really been fond of other iPadZaggfolio and rests nicely in the dock (unlike other docks iPad wont fall out if bumped). Bluetooth keyboard is removable.

11.) ALL THINGS BACON ($4 - $13), ThinkGeek.com

From bacon frosting to bacon dental floss to bacon hot sauce, thinkgeek has you covered!

12.)  DISNEY SPOTLIGHT KARAOKE, $99, Disney.com

Disney Sing-A-Longs have received an upgrade.  The ultimate gift for kids sing karaoke, sing along with top hits and create music videos and share them with friends and family. (Uses the iPad2's cameras).  Nice little touch to add voice effects like reverb and pitch enhancement!

13.)  KINDLE FIRE, $199, Amazon.com w/ Amazon Prime, $80

A nice tablet for $200.  In terms of full service it doesn't stack up to the iPad (note you wont have 3G capability, cameras and the bevy of apps just yet) but a great device for the price and its really fast!  Take advantage of the $80 a year Amazon Prime membership for 2-day free shipping on Amazon.com, free access to thousands of e-books in the Kindle Lending Library and free access to a ton of streaming movies.  You can read more on my Kindle review here.

14.) VOICE ACTIVATED R2-D2, $150, Amazon.com

The only thing I asked for this holiday.  Over 40 voice commands; R2 will work as surveillance for your home, play games and even dance. PS: Update: R2 had a hard time getting through the airport from CNN HQs back to NYC... I'm not kidding.

15.) JAMBOX, Jawbone.com, $200

A perfect portable speaker for desk, travel or small apartment.  Worth the spend.  I literally pack this with me on long business trips for my hotel room.

16.) Skullcandy FIX Earbuds-IN EAR BUDS, $70, Skullcandy.com

Theses are my go-to ear buds. Its a miracle they actually dont fall out!  Even use them at the gym and they stay in.

17.) RAINBOW MAKER, $20 Amazon.com

The meme is dead but this gadget is so in.  With just a little sun it transforms my living room putting prism rainbows everywhere.  It always makes me smile and has become a go- to easy gift.

18.) ONION DECOY BOXES (6), $38, TheOnion.com

Because nothing says I love you like Homeland Security Cologne.

19.) ANGRY BIRDS GIANT PLUSH, $50, ThinkGeek.com

20.) But of course the ultimate gift.... the iPad2.
